The iCare Life brand and its internationally benchmarked caregiving curriculum originate from our headquarters in Singapore. However, this website, its associated services, and all related financial transactions are exclusively operated and managed by our Indian entity, iCare Learning Private Limited.

For the purposes of data protection laws, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), iCare Learning Private Limited acts as the Data Fiduciary (Data Controller). We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in accordance with applicable Indian legislation, whilst voluntarily aligning with the robust global privacy standards of our parent brand.

2. The Personal Data We Collect We may collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal data about you when you interact with our platform, including:

  • Identity Data: First name, last name, username, date of birth, and government-issued identification (if required for official certification verification).

  • Contact Data: Email address, billing address, and telephone numbers.

  • Financial Data: Payment transaction details. (Note: We do not store your full credit card or bank details on our servers; these are processed securely by our certified Indian payment gateway partners).

  • Educational and Profile Data: Your username, password, course progress, assessment scores from our auto-proctored tests, certification status, and language preferences.

  • Technical and Usage Data: Internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system, and data on how you interact with our website and video modules.

3. How We Use Your Data We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Primarily, we process your data to fulfil our educational service contract with you. This includes:

  • Registering you as a new student and creating your account.

  • Processing your payments and course enrolments.

  • Delivering our competency-based e-learning modules, including third-party hosted video content.

  • Administering and evaluating your performance via our auto-proctored objective tests.

  • Issuing and verifying your iCare Life Course Completion Certificate.

  • Managing our relationship with you, including sending technical notices, updates, and support messages.

  • Complying with our legal, regulatory, and financial reporting obligations in India.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with trusted third parties strictly for the purpose of operating our platform and delivering your training:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who provide IT and system administration services, video hosting infrastructure (e.g., Vimeo), automated proctoring software, and secure payment processing.

  • Corporate Affiliates: We may share necessary aggregate or compliance data with our Singapore headquarters for global quality assurance and curriculum development, ensuring such transfers comply with appropriate data protection safeguards.

  • Legal and Regulatory Authorities: Government bodies, regulators, or law enforcement agencies in India if required by law.

5. Data Security We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered, or disclosed. Access to your personal data is limited to those employees, agents, and contractors who have a business need to know and are subject to a strict duty of confidentiality.

Because we issue professional certifications, we maintain your Identity and Educational Data long-term so that you, or future employers, can verify your certification status. Financial and transaction data will be kept for the period required by Indian tax and corporate laws.
